Anneka Deacon has been performing with Dream Science Circus since its very first season in 2004. Explorations in gymnastics, yoga, dance, sewing, art making, theater, and vocal performance during her youth in New England prepared her well for her present work and play in circus arts. Anneka choreographs and performs aerial and acrobatic acts in a vide variety of venues, from festivals to theaters, clubs, and corporate events. She is a crafter of imaginative costumes, and is especially fond of making headpieces with horns. Anneka has taught circus arts classes at the School of Acrobatics and New Circus Arts in Seattle, WA, and presently teaches private aerial classes and workshops in Bellingham, WA. She has performed extensively throughout the Pacific Northwest as well as in San Francisco, New York City, and Black Rock City.

Offstage, Anneka is a licensed massage therapist with a great appreciation for art, flora, fauna, friends, family and food. Her work in performance and healing arts aims to inspire others to live more conscious, healthy, fulfilling lives.

Anneka has studied with the School of Acrobatics and new Circus Arts (Seattle, WA), Lara Paxton (Circus Contraption, Seattle, WA), The Gemini Twins (Cirque Du Soleil, Nimble Arts), and Firefly Aerial Dance (New York, NY).
